Built in the 15th century, Oranmore Castle stands beside the water creating a beautiful landscape, which is almost other worldly. Rinville Park

Located just five minutes from Oranmore, Rinville, is a wonderful amenity, created around an ancient castle, a stately home and a fine estate demesne, which dates from the 16th century. With an extensive network of walks through woodlands, open farmland and harbour side, Rinville Park offers a recreational facility of outstanding quality and beauty. There is access to Rinville Point and Saleen Point, where views of Galway Bay, Galway City and the Burren of County Clare can be enjoyed. The Park has picnic areas including BBQ facilities, a large children’s playground, outdoor fitness equipment and is open for the public year round. Admission is free.

Galway Bay Golf Club

Designed by former Ryder Cup and World Cup golfer Christy O’Connor Jnr., Galway Bay Golf Course, superbly blends the stunning backdrop of Galway Bay and the rugged curves of the Atlantic coastline with mature trees, water hazards, concealed bunkers and highly acclaimed putting surfaces.
