Autumn is a wonderful time of year in Galway with crisp evenings drawing in and festivals still taking place throughout the city. There are some great events running throughout the midterm break in Galway for all ages:
Taking place all over the city, there are some great names on the line-up such as Al Porter and Reginald D Hunter.
Macnas Halloween Parade
Galway’s most celebrated street theatre collective, Macnas, will be celebrating the Halloween season with a spectacular parade through the city.
If you’re brave enough, the Connacht Tribune printing press on Market Street will be transformed into a scare factory, running throughout the midterm break.
Galway Ghost Ship
Only the bravest trick or treaters will be called upon the haunted fishing trawler on the docks of Claddagh Quay! Everyone is invited to arrive in their spookiest Halloween costumes to come along and hear the ghost stories from seanchaí onboard.
We will be running a special Halloween themed Crafty Kids Club throughout the midterm break to keep the little ones entertained. All of our guests have complimentary access to the leisure centre and playground outside too during their stay so there’s plenty to keep the kids happy! Book your family trip today.
