Food on the Edge is a boutique food symposium taking place in Galway on October 9th & 10th 2017. Some of the best chefs in the world will be invited to Galway to debate, discuss and share their invaluable insights into new thoughts on the food industry locally, nationally and globally. This is the third year the conference will be taking place, following on from the important strides made in the last two years in promoting Irish food to an international market as well as providing a forum for developing Irish chefs’ expertise and repertoire.
The theme of this year’s event will be #ActionReaction. A line up of celebrity and Michelin starred chefs are gracing the line up such as the stars of the Netflix series Chef’s Table. The symposium is hosted by the Black Box Theatre in Galway city, just 10 kilometres from Maldron Hotel Oranmore. Last year’s #FOTE symposium sold out completely so organisers are advising those interested to purchase tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
